The College facilities at your disposal are in a range of buildings dating from 1896, 2002 and 2006, all in a compact campus, surrounded by delightful landscaping and just a few minutes walk from the historic centre of the University, yet conveniently located for access to the West Cambridge science campus.
Our College Catering Department can provide you with private lunches and dinners in our main Dining Hall (capacity 120) Huddleston Room (capacity 20) or our Okinaga Suite, situated at the top of the College Tower and has a spectacular 360 degree view of Cambridge (Capacity 20).
The College is a popular and affordable choice for annual dinners of University departments and their groups, as well as student societies and a host of Private/Corporate functions.
You can select St Edmund's for fine dining and to celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries and retirement celebrations with an elegant dinner in our candlelit Dining Hall.
During the summer period, the College offers accommodation to visiting academics, graduate students and private cliental, all at attractive rates, with room rentals available for periods of 1 week or longer. Apartments are also available for couples.

The College, originally known as St Edmund's House, was founded in 1896 by the 15th Duke of Norfolk, in close collaboration with Baron Anatole von Hugel. In 1965 St Edmund's became one of the new graduate Colleges of the University. The name was changed to St Edmund's College in 1986. The College's Royal Charter was approved by H. M. The Queen in Council in 1998. The College is dedicated to St Edmund of Abingdon.
