The number and variety of public rooms within the College makes it possible to offer a range of facilities from small day meetings for six delegates to 130 seated in the Queen’s Building Auditorium. Outside term residential facilities are available in study bedrooms.
There is a diverse range of meeting rooms, from the contemporary Queen’s Building to the Regency splendour of Camden House. The medieval Old Library retains the original open timber screen of what was once the old College Chapel.
Dining Hall
The Hall is of course the quintessential venue for a dinner in College. Used on a daily basis in term time by the students, fellows and staff at the College, during the vacations it is available for external events. There is nothing that will impress business associates, especially those from oversees, more than a meal in the Hall, served with impeccable efficiency on oak benches which themselves are steeped in the history of the College. A string quartet playing for your guests from the Minstrels' Gallery will make any event unforgettable.

Emmanuel College was founded by Sir Walter Mildmay in 1584 on the site of a former priory of the Dominican Order, also known as the Black Friars or Preachers. For many years Chancellor of the Exchequer to Queen Elizabeth I, Mildmay was a man of Puritan sympathies and decided to establish a College where Protestant preachers would receive education and training of the same thoroughness as their Dominican predecessors.
Today, though Emmanuel still has some theological students, the range of studies includes all academic subjects; and since 1979 membership of the College has been open to women as well as men.
"I just wanted to say again how grateful we were for your help in ensuring that our recent conference went so smoothly, you were a pleasure to work with and really took the pressure off me - everything we asked for was done and with a smile. I would definitely recommend Emmanuel College for a conference and will do so when I get any opportunity. The food was excellent and the atmosphere in the room as the evening light darkened was wonderful. A fantastic evening and our guests were 'wowed'. Many thanks again for helping to ensure a highly successful conference - do take care and I hope we may work together on a conference again some time in the future. "
