Open Doors at Conference Cambridge
Welcome

Conference Cambridge 'Opendoors' event:

Location, Location, Location, Friday 6 June 2008

Location is undoubtedly the single most important criteria for venue selection for any event.

As a unique, world-renowned city, Cambridge is ideally located for any event, from corporate conferences to academic meetings.

On Friday 6 June, Conference Cambridge - the official free venue-finding service for the University of Cambridge - is organising a free, exciting and entertaining event at Fitzwilliam College and New Hall, two of the unique venues in its portfolio. Come and meet us, find out more about our Cambridge venues and have some fun at the same time!

Both venues are really easy to get to; both are very close to all major road networks, A14, M11, A428 & A10, a few minutes walk from our celebrated city and the older Colleges, offer ample free car parking and are well connected to local/public transport networks, including the city's exceptionally efficient park and ride.

Whilst modern colleges, the venues offer stunning contemporary architecture, in beautiful, peaceful grounds, with some of the best air conditioned and state of the art equipped facilities available in Cambridge.

Fitzwilliam College has a striking subterranean auditorium, an extremely versatile, space for conferences, exhibitions and concerts and it's one of the best venues acoustically in Cambridge for concerts and recordings.

New Hall, an all women's College comprises Grade 2* star listed buildings and additionally holds the largest collection of contemporary works by women artists in Europe.

The event will be a very enjoyable, relaxed morning, with a 10.00am start and an early 2.30pm close.
