AuditoriumAuditorium (t)002500000The recently built auditorium with its tiered seating and state of the art audio-visual and lighting facilities is our largest function room. The striking simple interior seats audiences of up to 250 and is extremely versatile, meeting the diverse range of operational requirements for conferences, exhibitions and concerts. Access via a lift is available for disabled people.

With its adjustable sound flaps and full blackout facilities, makes it one of the best venues acoustically in Cambridge for concerts and recordings.

An experienced AV Technician is onsite to assist speakers with their presentations, and to provide valuable support throughout the duration of the conference.

Auditorium Foyer0000000As delegates look out from the large glazed windows of this modern Foyer, across the beautifully kept gardens, they are reminded of Fitzwilliam's heraldic motto "Ex Antiquis Et Novosimus Optima" - "the best of the old and the new" as they catch sight of The Grove, built some 200 years ago. This location is ideal for registrations, refreshments and informal receptions.

Trust RoomTrust Room7260804030400The Trust Room is panelled in Columbian Pine and seats 80. This popular conference venue is where the College's governing body traditionally meets. Ground floor, natural light, air-conditioning - available in the summer.
Walter Grave RoomWalter Grave Room5050604024300The Walter Grave Room is popular because of its size and elegance. Seating up to 50 for a formal meal, it has open views of the College gardens, and guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks on the adjoining patio. Ground floor, natural light; ideal for small exhibitions and poster displays.

Gordon Cameron TheatreGordon Cameron Theatre (t)00570000Part of the Wilson Court Conference Suite, the meeting rooms of the Suite can be used singly or as an integrated group. The Theatre seats up to 57 delegates in air-conditioned comfort. It has its own projection room and tiered seating with individual writing tablets. This small theatre offers a high quality audio-visual system, including data projector, laptop computer, DVD/CD/VHS player and a complete PA system.

As its main design feature is that of a theatre, this is the only room within the Suite which does not have natural light. It's easily accessible for disabled delegates with wheelchairs.
William Thatcher Room00322122240Part of the Wilson Court Conference Suite; a quality venue designed to meet the needs of the 21st century delegate. Every room enjoys excellent natural light and is enhanced by the choice of natural colours and materials, like ash, which gives the rooms a restful quality. All rooms are located on the ground floor, providing easy access for the disabled. Light refreshments can be served in the pleasant Common Room, which opens on to a terraced patio.

The connecting doors between Seminar Room 3 and the Common room can open up to create a pleasant lounge area with a garden terrace for delegates to relax in during breaks, or to hold an informal drinks reception or finger buffet.

College ChapelCollege Chapel0000000Richard MacCormac's award-winning Chapel was a triumph of design and craftsmanship, which received glowing tributes from the architectural press and won three awards, the Civic Trust and David Urwin Heritage Awards for its architecture, and the national prize of the Carpenters' Company for its woodwork. The Chapel can seat 36 people in a group without feeling too large and up to 136 in a conventional aisled arrangement. A tranquil setting for quiet periods or the ideal location for smaller informal musical recitals.
Dining HallDining Hall25025000000Our striking College Hall was designed by Sir Denys Lasdun, is panelled in Columbian Pine, has solid ash chairs and oak stained tables. It is a splendid venue for larger formal occasions, such as gala dinners & Christmas parties.
Fellows' ParlourFellows' Parlour12000000The Fellows' Parlour, usually the preserve of senior members of the College, is available for exclusive dinner parties of up to 12 people seated around its circular table. Coffee and liqueurs may be taken into the adjoining Writing Room. Guests enjoy the grandfather clock from the original Fitzwilliam of 1869 and the luxurious leather chesterfields.
College Bar0000000The fully stocked College bar is open during normal licensing hours. With sporting photographs and College oars it provides an atmospheric setting for drinks receptions or those after dinner digestifs. A wide variety of wines are available including the College's own label of Port, Sherry and Chateau-bottled wines.

There are four types of accommodation, Tree Court - standard study bedrooms with wash basins; New Court - cleverly designed in clusters of four, sharing two toilets, a shower and a bath; Fellows' Court - recently refurbished with the additions of an en suite shower and wash basin; Wilson and Gatehouse Courts - luxury bedrooms with full en suite facilities. The College has an on-going annual programme of refurbishing and redecorating its conference bedrooms. All types of accommodation have a washbasin facility, are comfortably furnished and centrally heated. On arrival Guests are provided with a hospitality tray of complementary toiletries, together with tea and coffee making facilities. Our Domestic Department operates a daily room cleaning service with fresh towels. Direct dial telephones with national and international dialling facilities are provided in all bedrooms.

Parking120: The College car parks are on Huntingdon Road and Storey's Way (Porters' Lodge entrance) with on-street parking in the side streets on both roads. Citi Travel operate a frequent service (every 10 minutes) from Madingley Road Park & Ride, located approximately one mile from the College. There is a bus stop just before and after the road leading to Storey's Way. (See www.stagecoachbus.com)
