Selwyn College was founded in 1882 in memory of George Augustus Selwyn, the first Bishop of New Zealand. It is a friendly College, situated in a quiet residential area only a few minutes walk from the city centre. Its location affords easy access from the M11 and space for parking. It is also adjacent to the Sidgwick site, with its wide range of lecture facilities.
Selwyn is renowned for the excellence of its food and offers a choice of accommodation. Our new building, Ann's Court, has 42 superb comfortably furnished en suite bedrooms. The Old Court provides a taste of traditional College life whilst the modern study bedrooms in Cripps Court have a shower shared between two rooms.
